Jeremiah Aaron is Entering the Transfer Portal
Tuesday evening, West Virginia University receiver Jeremiah Aaron announced his intentions to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal after leaving the team in late September.
"First, I want to thank God for allowing me to play the game that I love. Without him, I am nothing/
I would Like to thank coach Mike Joseph and his strength and conditioning staff for pushing me in my fitness to be a better player on the field, both mentally and physically. I also want to thank WVU football for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dreams beyond JUCO.
Lastly, I want to thank my family for always believing in me and always having my back through thick and thin. Y'all are my 'why' and I live ya'll 5L.
With that being said, after a lot of thoughts and prayers, I will be entering the transfer portal with two years of eligibility."
Aaron had 12 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown last year as a freshman and was poised to be a key contributor in the passing this season, earning a spot at the 'X' two-deep heading into the season. However, he only registered one reception for eight yards through the first four games while redshirt freshman Hudson Clement had a breakout game in week two versus Duquesne with five receptions for 177 yards and three touchdowns and taking over the starting role.
