With the 2018 recruiting class gaining some momentum, let us not forget about the 2019 class, which we are slowly being introduced to. Class of '19 offensive lineman, Jacob Monk of Clayton, North Carolina currently holds offers from East Carolina, USC, Duke, NC State, Wake Forest, Virginia and of course West Virginia. Monk told me, "I was very excited when I found out I had been offered to WVU. I didn't think it would happen so fast. I view the program as a tough working school that has great fan support and tradition." When asked if any schools stand out to him at the moment he answered,

" I like all of my offers, but WVU has always been my dream school."

Monk tells me that he and Coach Bruce Tall have a good relationship even though the connection is just beginning. Monk said that his high school runs a similar offense so it is a system he is comfortable playing in.

Monk also informed me that he wants to make it a "priority" to visit for a game this season.
