Monday afternoon, the Big 12 Conference announced West Virginia University punter Oliver Straw Special Teams Player of the Week.

Straw totaled four punts for 200 yards, averaging 50 yards per punt with season-high long of 57, and pinned a pair of punts inside the 20 in the Mountaineers win against UCF on Saturday. This marks the first time in his career Straw has averaged 50 yards per punt on multiple punts in a game and had multiple 50+ yard punts for the first time this season.

The Melbourne, Australia is averaging 43.4 yards per punt and placed 15 punts inside the 20 this season.
