Quincy Wilson Accepts New Coaching Job

A new chapter begins for the former West Virginia running back.

Former WVU running back Quincy Wilson is returning to the Mountain State, taking over as the running backs coach at Fairmont State.

In 2022, Wilson took his first head coaching job at the University of Fort Lauderdale but due to not having enough players to field a team, the program played just one game this past season. Previously, Wilson served as the running backs coach at West Virginia State.

Wilson, a Weirton, WV native, played at WVU from 1999-03 and rushed for 2,608 yards and 20 touchdowns in his career. He was a All-Big East First Team selection following his senior campaign and would be selected in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.
