BREAKING: WVU Corner Ruled OUT for Season Opener
This afternoon on the Big 12 weekly teleconference, head coach Neal Brown announced that junior cornerback Dreshun Miller has officially been ruled out for this Saturday's game vs James Madison. Brown also noted that he will be re-evaluated after this week and it does not appear to be a serious injury.
Miller is a highly recruited corner that played at Eastern Arizona junior college a year ago, where he finished with 44 tackles, 12 pass breakups and one interception.
He originally committed to LSU, then had a change of heart and flipped to the Mountaineers prior to signing day. Once cleared, Miller will be expected to be the first corner off the bench to fill in on either side for Hakeem Bailey or Keith Washington. He's got great size and length, which is something the Mountaineers don't have a lot of at the position.
