West Virginia offensive lineman Dylan Ray announced on Twitter over the weekend that he will be transferring to Kentucky.

"First off I want to thank West Virginia University, Coach Joseph, and Coach Moore for everything they have done for me throughout the past 2 years. With that being said I am happy to announce my commitment to the University of Kentucky!!!"

Ray came to WVU as a walk-on in 2021 and only saw 32 offensive snaps as a redshirt freshman this past season. WVU head coach Neal Brown mentioned his name a few times throughout the season in reference to walk-ons who will be a factor at some point in their careers, lumping him in the same category as Nick Malone.

Dylan is the son of former West Virginia offensive lineman, John Ray, who played for the Mountaineers from 1988-91. The big, 6'10", 320-pounder played a big part in WVU's success in the late 80s and early 90s.
