Saturday afternoon, the Big Ten Conference announced that the 2023 season opener between West Virginia and Penn State will kick off at 7:30 p.m. EST on NBC on September 2nd.

A few weeks ago, the start time of the game was accidentally leaked by Penn State linebacker Abdul Carter, who posted a picture to his Instagram story with a countdown clock to the WVU game with it set to 7:30 p.m. EST.

Penn State has dominated the all-time series, leading 48-9-2. They have won seven of the last eight meetings, including a 25-game losing streak that lasted from 1956-1984. WVU's all-time record at Penn State is 3-31.
