According to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports, West Virginia is expected to hire Appalachian State defensive line coach Victor Cabral as the outside linebackers coach.

The hiring comes after safeties coach Dontae Wright accepted the defensive coordinator position at Troy in December.

Cabral was a defensive lineman at Georgia Southern from 2000-04, he spent 11 years on the Eagles' coaching staff over three different stints and also has coached at Samford and Georgia Military College.
