WVU Targeting Division II Wide Receiver Transfer

West Virginia looks to add another receiver through the portal.

WVU head coach Neal Brown told reporters this week that they would like to add another receiver through the transfer portal sometime this offseason. One name that has seemingly gained a ton of Power Five steam is JaQuae Jackson (6'3", 175 lbs) of California (PA), a Division II school.

West Virginia offered Jackson Thursday night, joining Cincinnati, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Pitt, NC State, and several others that have offered.

This past year, Jackson logged 77 receptions for 1,178 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 15.3 yards per catch. At the end of the 2022 season, Jackson was named an All-American.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
