The New York Giants are moving on from former West Virginia star receiver David Sills V, releasing him ahead of the 4 p.m. roster cut-down deadline.

In two seasons with the Giants, Sills caught 13 passes for 123 yards.

Sills made his first appearance for the Giants against the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 24, 2021. Then, he recorded his first reception against Philly later in the season (Dec. 26) versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his final two seasons at West Virginia, he recorded 1,996 receiving yards on 123 receptions and 33 touchdowns.
