McBride Sets Career-High in Start vs. Mavericks
A good day at the office for the former Mountaineer guard.
In this story:
With Jalen Brunson being ruled out Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau gave former Mountaineer Miles McBride the starting nod and he did not disappoint.
McBride set a career-high in scoring with 21 points on 9/22 shooting from the field. He also recorded six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Although the solid effort came in a loss, it was another opportunity for McBride to show he's ready for a bigger role.
He also had the highlight of the night throwing down a dunk with Maxi Kleber trying to chase him down.
