Arkansas big man Transfers to West Virginia

Yesterday evening, the Mountaineer basketball family grew a little larger with the announcement of former Arkansas forward Gabe Osabuohien transferring into the program.
After being dismissed from the Razorbacks program a short four days ago, Osabuohien was quick to find his new home. Due to being dismissed, he will sit out the 2019-20 season and will become eligible next season with two years of eligibility remaining.
He averaged 3.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 34 games for Arkansas a year ago over 15.0 minutes per game.
With this addition, it is possible that he could help pressure inbounds on the press and also play the four if needed. He has great athleticism and if he can continue to develop his game, could be a good weapon on offensive put-backs. Almost resembling former Mountaineer Jon Holton, if you will.
He joins center Isaiah Cottrell as the 2nd pledge for the 2020 recruiting class.
