Henry also held offers from Buffalo, Kansas, Liberty, North Carolina State, Oregon State, and Troy.

As a junior, Henry totaled 27 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, and one pass breakup. On the offensive side of the ball, he rushed for 96 yards on 11 carries and caught 24 passes for 271 yards and two scores.

Henry will play defensive back at West Virginia, but where exactly he will line up in the secondary is to be determined.

He becomes the 11th commit of West Virginia's 2024 class.

NOTE: This is not the son of former West Virginia wide receiver, Chris Henry Sr., who played at WVU in the early 2000s. Chris Henry Jr. is a wide receiver recruit in the class of 2026. He does hold an offer from WVU.
