Class of 2024 defensive back Israel "Jacob" Boyce (5'11", 180 lbs) of Douglasville, Georgia announced Thursday evening that he has committed to West Virginia.

Boyce chose West Virginia over offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Boston College, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Liberty, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Troy, UAB, UNLV, Yale, and a few others.

Last season, Boyce recorded 50 tackles, five pass breakups, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles for Douglas County High School.

Boyce becomes the tenth commit of West Virginia's 2024 class, joining WR Keyshawn Robinson, WR Brandon Rehmann, TE Jack Sammarco, OL Kyle Altuner, DL Richard James, DL Elijah Kinsler, EDGE Obinna Onwuka, S KJ Flowe, and DB Zae Jennings.
