WVU's Top '24 QB Target Locks in Visits to Three Schools

It's about to be a very hectic month of June for Maj Jones.

West Virginia is zeroing in on its top quarterback target in the 2024 class, Samaj Jones (5'11", 205 lbs) of St. Joseph's Prep School in Philadelphia, PA.

Earlier this week, Jones released his top four schools which consisted of Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Penn State, and of course, West Virginia.

Now, Jones has locked in visits with three of those schools, kicking things off with a trip to WVU from June 2-4. He'll follow that up by going to Cincinnati from June 9-11 and then to Oklahoma from June 16-18.

He does not have a visit scheduled with Penn State as of yet, but could potentially squeeze one in during the final weekend of June ahead of making a decision.

As a junior, Jones completed 131-of-206 pass attempts (63.5%) for 2,526 yards and 32 touchdowns. He also ran for 735 yards and 14 touchdowns on 99 carries.
