Saturday afternoon, class of 2024 running back Diore Hubbard (5'10", 180 lbs) of Gahanna, Ohio announced his commitment to West Virginia on Twitter.

"The culture of West Virginia and the fan base is what stood out to me the most," Hubbard told Mountaineers Now. "The fans are electric, the facilities are great, the coaches are great. It just felt like home."

Hubbard chose the Mountaineers over offers from Appalachian State, Ball State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, James Madison, Kentucky, Marshall, Massachusetts, Miami (OH), Toledo, and a few others.

As a junior, Hubbard rushed for 833 yards and 12 scores on 127 carries.
