Recently, 2020 defensive tackle Jeffrey M’ba (Oakdale, CT) originally of France, released his top ten schools.

The Mountaineers found themselves on that list for the fast rising recruit along with Tennessee, Ohio State, Virginia, Florida State, Penn State, North Carolina, Michigan, Oregon and Florida.

M’ba took a visit to Morgantown back in the middle of June and enjoyed his trip with close friend and fellow West Virginia 2020 defensive line target Kevin Kalonji. “The facilitates were amazing. You have all the conditions to be a great player and it seems like a great place to mature as a player and is a great place to be,” M’ba stated.

Yesterday, M’ba told WVSportsNow that one reason West Virginia made the cut is his relationship with the coaches. “Before I went there, my man Kevin [Kalonji] told me that they’re a school that shows real love. Then, when I went on my visit they showed me more of that. When you go to WVU, you can tell that they’re a real family and that’s important to me,” he said.

M’ba also tells WVSportsNow that he and his uncle are working out some things with his eligibility so that he can schedule an official visit to WVU and also Florida.
