The 2021 recruiting class is an important one for Neal Brown and his staff as it will be the first true recruiting class in their young tenure in Morgantown. One name that has been gaining a lot of national attention as of late is linebacker Christopher Paul Jr. of Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia.

Paul has received a few more offers since his junior season has started, but his relationship with the West Virginia coaching staff is continuing to grow. "Things are going great! Coach Vic [Koenning] came by the school a week ago and I was able to talk to him," Paul said. "We talked about my season so far and how excited they are about recruiting me and coming up for a game if possible," he added. Last month Paul told WVSportsNow that he and coach Neal Brown started getting in touch and that they were building a great bond.

Paul noted that he and his family are looking into coming to Morgantown next month on Nov. 9th vs Texas Tech or Nov.23rd for the match-up with Oklahoma State.

Paul Jr. also holds offers from Akron, Austin Peay, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Nebraska, TCU, and Central Florida.
