West Virginia Enters the Picture for 2021 Defensive Lineman
Yesterday class of 2021 defensive lineman Michael Hall Jr. of Streetsboro, OH received an offer from West Virginia linebackers coach Blake Seiler.
Hall Jr. visited Morgantown back in the summer for a camp and has been waiting on the offer since. “I just thank God for all He’s done for me really and I’m starting to see all the hard work pay off. I’m extremely appreciative of the coaching staff of WVU taking the time and following me ever since I put on a show at their camp in the summer earlier this year,” Hall said. “It’s a program that plays some big teams and in the Big 12 they have to have a good defense to stop other teams from scoring and also have to have versatile d-lineman. I believe I’ll fit that style of defense,” he added.
The relationship between Hall and WVU’s Seiler is off to a good start and is one that Hall is looking forward to continue, “He always has a smile on his face and when you talk to him he always asks how are you doing and asked how your day went. Nothing more you could ask for from a coach and very relatable, and funny!”
Hall tells WVSportsNow that his top three schools consist of Kentucky, Michigan State and Cincinnati but will certainly consider West Virginia. He has visits set for Cincinnati and Michigan State and is looking to visit West Virginia sometime in November. Hall also noted that he will be making his decision on his birthday next year, which is June 13th.
