Jordan Brewster is playing soccer professionally.

After failing to hear her name called in the 2023 NWSL Draft on Jan. 12, Brewster just extended her soccer career with the signing of a professional contract in Sweden. 

She becomes WVU Women's Soccer's 33rd professional Mountaineer after inking a two-year contract with the Swedish Damallsvenskan's Kristianstad's DFF.

Brewster completed her five years with the program after playing 9,249 minutes through 101 games, all of which she started. She amassed nine goals (five game winners), 11 assists, 62 shots (36 on goal), and went 5-7 on PKs in her time as a Mountaineer.

Brewster's accolades in the gold and blue are extensive. She was named All-Big 12 Second Team, All-Big 12 Freshman Team, 2018 TopDrawerSoccer Division I Freshman Best XI First Team, and Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team her freshman season. Sophomore year, she added nine clean sheets, as well as United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Second Team, All-Big 12 Second Team, Academic All-Big 12 First Team, and WVU Most Valuable Player. 

Junior year, she was a force to be reckoned with. Brewster added United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team, CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team and Academic All District 2 First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region First Team, TopDrawerSoccer Best XI Second Team, MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, All-Big 12 First Team, Academic All-Big 12 First Team, and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 6) to the mix.

In 2021, Brewster, now a senior, affixed United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team and Scholar First Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region First Team, her second straight MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, Senior CLASS Award Candidate, All-Big 12 First Team and Academic First Team, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week (Aug. 31, Oct. 5), TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week (Sept. 14), and Preseason All-Big 12 Team.

2022 saw Brewster in 22 games. She scored a trio of goals, all game winners, including the shot to win the 2022 Big 12 Championship.
