As Wisconsin Basketball gears up for the 2023-2024 season, there's one name that has surprisingly surfaced in the rotation—Nolan Winter. With just a week left before their exhibition match against UW-Stevens Point, fans are buzzing with anticipation.

NCAA insider Jon Rothstein has reported that Nolan Winter, the freshman forward, is "firmly cemented" in the Badgers rotation. Head Coach Greg Gard shared that Winter is at least among the top eight players on the team, making him a crucial part of the Badgers' strategy for the upcoming season.

This may come as a surprise to some, as our projections last week didn't include Winter in the Badgers' starting lineup. As we enter the final stages before the season officially kicks off, Winter’s inclusion in the rotation adds another layer to the Badgers' depth.
