The Wisconsin Badgers remained among the nation’s top teams after the release of the Associated Press Men’s Basketball Top 25 on Monday after nine weeks of the season.

The Badgers are now No. 15 this week after checking in last week’s poll at No. 21. It’s one of the largest jumps in the poll this week.

Wisconsin (11-3, 3-0 in Big Ten) is preparing for a pair of league games this week. The Badgers will be in Columbus to face Ohio State on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., followed by a home game with Northwestern at the Kohl Center on Saturday at 11 a.m. Both games are set for the Big Ten Network.

Wisconsin is coming off a 2-0 week after coming back from their holiday break.

First, the Badgers defeated Iowa, 83-72. Tyler Wahl scored a season-high 19 points and Steven Crowl had a double-double as the Badgers broke a 32-all tie at halftime to claim the victory.

Then, on Saturday the Badgers beat Nebraska, 88-72. Wahl led the Badgers with 17 points, but four other players were in double figures — Chucky Hepburn with 13 points, Connor Essegian with 12 points, John Blackwell with 12 points and AJ Storr with 10 points.
