Bode Miller's Crash at the World Ski Championships
United States skier Bode Miller crashed during the World Championships super-G event on Thursday in Beaver Creek, Colo., and he suffered a deep cut on his right leg which later required surgery for a severed hamstring. Miller was ahead of the leader's pace when his hand got stuck on the gate, flipping him down much of the hill.
"Out of a successful Surgery for a severed hamstring tendon. Feeling lucky since things could have been way worse."
