Description: Vans is going for all four seasons by constructing clothing and a new Sk8-Hi Del Pato MTE with materials designed to handle the cooler months. For winter, the Mountain Edition Collection adds Scotchgard-treated uppers to a variety of footwear, insulates linings and adds a heat-retention layer between the sockliner and outsole. As part of the push, a new duck boot-inspired Sk8-Hi Del Pato MTE debuts with the addition of a traction-heavy outsole and two colorways— black/black and ginger/navy—outfitted in pig suede and reinforced with “tuff-coated mudguard.” For apparel, Vans has added PrimaLoft fiber for insulation and a water repellant treatment.
