The Year 4 Apex Legends Global Series is inching ever closer and the 30 teams have finally been decided for the Split 1 Pro League in North America. Respawn and EA invited 22 teams based on the Year 3 performances and eight other teams earned their spots through the Preseason Qualifiers that just wrapped up at the end of December.
The Year ALGS Pro League Split 1 is set to begin on January 20th and run through April 1st with a prize pool of $125,000. Here’s a list of all the teams currently set to participate in the Year 4 North American ALGS Pro League Split 1.
Teams Invited to the Year 4 ALGS Pro League
Not all of these teams are fielding current rosters as some of the teams who earned a spot in the Pro League from Year 3 ALGS have left the scene. When this happens, the ALGS spot usually falls to the captain of the squad. It’s the same reason you see so many new team names among those invited.
For example, LOL is Phony, Frexs and Dan, the former FaZe Clan team with new pick-up Xynew who played briefly with DarkZero Esports in the Year 3 ALGS Split 2 Playoffs.
You can see who each of the teams are fielding on the official Liquipedia page for the Year 4 ALGS Pro League Split 1.
