The Best Wraith Skins in Apex Legends & What They Say About You
What are the Best Wraith Skins in Apex Legends and what statement do they make?
- Wraith is the OG Skirmisher and go-to Legend for Streamers and Sweaty players in Apex Legends.
- Style is everything and when it comes to fashion, every cosmetic choice comes with a statement.
- When you choose to play Wraith in Apex Legends, what skin you wear will decide what your teammates think of you.
First impressions are everything even in a battle royale like Apex Legends. What character you decide to play and what skin you’re wearing can go a long way in setting expectations for your teammates. We all know the feeling when a player locks in Octane. He launches solo, he steals all the loot out of the bin you opened then he jump pads off to die somewhere. It’s the same for every Legend, including Wraith, so here is all you need to know about her most popular skins and what they say about you.
Void Prowler
The Wraith who wears the Void Prowler Skin is a huge anime fan. They probably have an open mic and you can hear Naruto or Bleach playing on repeat in the background. They’re not great at the game and only play in Trios and Duos, but win or lose they have fun. A Void Prowler Wraith won’t queue unless they’re with at least one friend. They will always ask if you stream and if they can follow you on social media.
High Class
If you encounter a High Class Wraith, you’re better off muting your team chat and just trying to enjoy your own game. Nothing will ever be the fault of a High Class Wraith. If they get knocked or killed it’s the result of cheating (allegedly). Will accuse everyone of aim botting, wall hacking and DDOS’ing. She reports everyone after a bad match, it doesn't matter if it’s her team or the team that killed her. This Wraith will absolutely be on Twitter tagging Apex Devs and complaining about game issues and match results.
Phase Walker
The Phase Walker Wraith is a cosmetic fiend, but only ever wears the Phase Walker Skin. They are obsessed with cosmetics and having the best gun skins and charms. They own every Legendary. Their skill is pretty average, they don’t always win but they know how to hold their own. They’ll always let you know during the pre-game how rare their skin is. “Everyone has a Mythic skin, it doesn’t actually mean anything.”
The Liberator
This is the one you really need to watch out for, the Liberator Wraith. Also known as the Bald Wraith or the Sweaty Wraith. They’ll be running a Peacekeeper and a Wingman, wall bouncing and tap strafing everywhere they go. They’ll take all the meds, shields and punch you if you try to loot anything yourself. This is the only cosmetic they own and they never open their Apex Packs.
The Liberator Wraith will solo queue and wipe entire lobbies. If you see this Wraith, turn the other way and run. Even if she’s on your team, no she’s not.
Apex Voidshifter
The Apex Voidshifter, owner of the Mythic Wraith skin is probably a streamer. They have every heirloom and mythic skin in the game, but they only play Wraith. Their main toxic trait is quitting the match if they can’t play her.
She’s confident and competent and the only counter to a sweaty, bald Liberator Wraith. She’ll use the ping system and play around you, but only if you can keep up. She’ll revive you if you survive after she’s wiped the team. You get one respawn per game, then she leaves you to timeout while she gets the win.
