The meta for SMG players is tough, with a lot of the options being extremely good. However, the AMR9 is without a doubt at the top of the list, with an extremely fast fire rate, the AMR9 is exceptionally good up close and perfect for SMG players who love to get in the face of their opponents. Here’s everything you need for the perfect loadout, including attachments, perks and equipment.

This AMR9 loadout is built around speed and mobility, making it the perfect option for SMG players in objective game modes such as Hardpoint. The FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip and the Skin ZX Grip help improve the weapons recoil control, making it usable at longer ranges too. The Tectonic Micro Integral Suppressor gives a great boost to the speed and mobility of the weapon, allowing you to get closer to your opponents.
The optic is down to personal preference, but having one is essential. The AMR9’s iron sights are not the best option, and an optic will allow you to use the AMR9 much easier in medium-range gunfights.

When building this loadout for the AMR9, we’re focusing on speed and mobility. Due to this we start off with the Infantry Vest which increases your Tac Sprint duration making you much faster on the map. The Commando Gloves are also essential as they allow you to reload while sprinting, keeping you on the move at all times.
The Covert Sneakers and Ghost T/V Camo complement each other perfectly, with the Covert Sneakers keeping you silent while running, and Ghost keeping you off the radar while on the move. For the Lethal and Tactical, these can be changed. However, we love the Semtex, and Battle Rage is the perfect Tactical for SMG players gives you a short boost in health regeneration.
How to Unlock the AMR9
The AMR9 is the final weapon you unlock in Modern Warfare 3, gaining access to it at Level 55. However, if you purchased the Vault Edition of MW3, you’ll receive an AMR9 blueprint that allows you to use it from level 4 when you can create a class.
