Best FOV Settings for Warzone Urzikstan
Warzone’s new Urzikstan map has been a hit with the community. Many players are loving the new map and it has quickly become a fan favorite. However, if you’re struggling to get your first win, you might need to change your Field of View settings.
Field of View (FOV) is a setting that was only recently introduced to console Call of Duty games but has been a big part of every PC game for years. Since its introduction to console Call of Duty, it has been a big talking point, with many players having differing opinions on what FOV is the best to play on. In Warzone Urzikstan, FOV is crucial for success, and having the right setting could be the difference between winning and losing.

Best Console & Controller FOV
Console players should look to have their FOV setting between 95 and 105. This is the sweet spot to allow you to see as many enemies as possible, but also be able to hit your shots accurately from a distance. If your FOV is set to the maximum at 120 on Console, it will be difficult to be accurate with a controller due to the enemies being so small that your aim assist might not lock on.
Due to this, between 95 and 105 gives you the best of both worlds, keeping your aim assist in perfect shape, while also allowing you to see more enemies. When it comes to ADS Field of View and Weapon Field of View, we like to use Affected, as this will adjust your ADS zoom relative to your FOV when aiming down sights, and Wide as this will reduce the size of your weapon giving you more free space on your screen.
Using an FOV below 95 is not recommended as while your enemies will appear larger, you won’t get any extra aim assist benefit at all, so you should take advantage of a higher FOV to see more enemies on your screen.
Best PC & Mouse and Keyboard FOV
For players on PC using a mouse and keyboard, we recommend using a Field of View between 105 and 115. Players using a mouse and keyboard are able to track their opponents more accurately from a distance, so having a slightly wider Field of View is only a positive.
This time, we’ll use Independent ADS Field of View as this will make long range gunfights slightly easier, and once again we opt for Wide Weapon Field of View to make the most use of the screen space available. PC players can go all the way to the maximum Field of View of 120 if desired, however this largely depends on the performance of your PC. If you’re running the best hardware out there, you should be fine. However, if your PC has slightly older specs, you will see a decrease in performance the higher you put your Field of View.
How to Change your Field of View
Players can change their Field of View settings through Warzone or Modern Warfare 3 by following these steps:
- Open the Settings Tab
- Select Graphics
- Find Field of View settings under the ‘View’ section
- Adjust the slider to your chosen FOV
All players on both Console and PC have access to the Field of View setting, as Console players are no longer restricted to 80 FOV as they were in previous Call of Duty titles.
That’s the best Field of View options for both Console and PC on Warzone. These FOV settings will also be extremely useful in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, so there’s no need to change these if you’re jumping back into MW3.
