Best Kastov 545 Loadout Build After Call of Duty MW2 Season 03 Update
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 03 made changes to guns and how you should build them. If you're not using the TAQ 56, one of the questions is; what's the best build for the Kastov 545 AR? With changes and updates to the game, attachments to weapons can vastly improve their performance and your overall gameplay. One of the guns players are switching to in Ranked Play is the Kastov. Here's how you should build the gun to get the most out of it.
*This build with its attachments is meant for CoD MW2 Ranked Play but also works for Warzone and Multiplayer, where tuning is allowed.
Underbarrel
FSS Sharkfin 90
A universal underbarrel that can be used with any gun and is used by many Pro Call of Duty League players. An AR is already limited in ADS speed compared to SMGs. To keep the ADS where it's at with no reductions, the Sharkfin will greatly benefit this build.
Muzzle
Sakin Tread-40
While the Saikin reduces ADS speed, it improves your recoil control both vertically and horizontally, making the Kastov a beaming demon. You can make up for the reductions with your other attachments.
Barrel
IG-k30 406mm
It's typical to stay away from barrels because of their ADS and movement reduction, but the added velocity and recoil control will come in handy when fighting long-range gunfights. The handling going to take a hit, but you can make up for it with the stock and rear grip attachments.
Stock
Kastov-Rama
The Rama stock will add to your sprint speed and walking speed, helping you get to the angles you need to hold much quicker. The aiming stability is reduced, but with the previous attachments, it's not significant.
Rear Grip
True-Tac Grip
To cap off the best Kastov build, add the True-Tac, which we also use for the TAQ 56. The sprint-to-fire speed and added ADS bonus help you get down the sights quicker to put your shots on target. While you won't be moving like an SMG, this grip goes a long way to helping you win mid-range gunfights.
