Rostermania has hit a dead period over the past couple of weeks, with rumors being unconfirmed. One of the major rumors was Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat, and Preston "Priestahh" Greiner was interested in being a pair for a team to sign to their starting roster.

Boston Breach Sign Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat

It was confirmed on July 19 that Boston would be signing SlasheR after being with Atlanta FaZe the previous year. As the fourth for the best trio in the Call of Duty League, he had his ups and downs throughout the MW2 season. SlasheR started the year off struggling, making many in the scene wondering if he would be replaced at some point.

FaZe stuck with SlasheR the entire year, and it paid off, for the most part. FaZe made a deep run at Champs, placing top 3 after losing to the eventual World Champions, New York Subliners. Despite the critics, SlasheR was at his best when it mattered most and put together a strong season overall and finds himself a new home with a promising organization.

Boston Breach Makes Preston "Priestahh" Greiner Signing Official

With the SlasheR news, it was only a matter of time until Priestahh became the next official signing for Boston. He was officially let go by the New York Subliners on July 18 after apparent contract negotiations were at a stalemate.

This comes to the surprise of many, as this would be the first time in the CDL era that a World Championship team doesn't run it back with the same team. Like SlasheR, Priestahh had his moments of struggle, as well as moments of greatness. Despite all that, he and his team won Major 1, Major 5, and the one that matters — Champs.

Boston Breach's New Roster

Heading into Champs, Boston elevated the young rookie Eric "Snoopy" Pérez to the starting lineup, and he impressed in his debut. His lone tournament performance netted him a spot on Boston's starting roster for next season.

There's still one spot to fill after the announcement of SlasheR, with Priestahh not far behind. With Kyle "Kremp" Haworth being released by Boston, they need to find an SMG to pair with Snoopy.

Here is how the current Boston Breach roster looks:

  • SMG: Snoopy
  • SMG: n/a
  • Flex: Priestahh
  • AR: SlasheR
  • ?: Beans

Who that next SMG could be is uncertain. There are several options they could go with, considering the market for SMGs is extremely high.

We will keep you posted with any other roster moves made by Boston and the rest of the Call of Duty League.
