The Call of Duty League is as competitive as its ever been. At any point, a team lower in the standings could beat a team considered superior to them, making ranking teams tougher than ever. After the second weekend of Major 4 Qualifiers, where do the 12 CDL teams sit in the rankings?

12. London Royal Ravens

Coming off a 3-1 victory against the Vegas Legion is a huge momentum boost for a London team that has struggled to find wins. Maybe this will help turn the page going forward, but it's tough to see them better than any team in the CDL currently.

11. Los Angeles Guerrillas

Plenty of talent is on the Guerrillas roster, but they've struggled to put it together this year. Major 4 has been no different. They've had tough losses to Minnesota RØkkr, Los Angeles Thieves, and Vegas Legion, putting them 0-3 so far this Major.

10. Florida Mutineers

After some positive sights in Major 3, Florida continues to go through roster changes and can't quite build the team chemistry needed to beat teams. They've won just three games this Major and are 0-4 in matches.

9. Vegas Legion

Here is where things get interesting. Each team from here on up is going to be extremely competitive. Vegas has taken many positive steps moving forward, and adding Eli "Standy" Bentz only makes them better. They have the potential to be closer to a top-five team after Major 4 Qualifiers.

8. Minnesota RØkkr

After an abysmal Major 3, everyone seemed to have written Minnesota off. We forgot they got top three in Major 2 and had a solid Qualifier run in Major 1. They started Major 4 with two commanding wins against Florida and the Guerrillas and had a hard-fought loss against the New York Subliners. They appear to be putting things together at the right time to make a late-season push.

7. Seattle Surge

Seattle has been a confusing team to predict. They've proven to beat top-tier teams but haven't consistently done so. They lost 3-1 to the Thieves, then put Toronto away 3-2 and dominated Florida 3-1. If Makenzie "Mack" Kelley stays consistent and lets Amer "Pred" Zulbeari and Daunte "Sib" Gray fry, they have the potential to be a top-five team.

6. New York Subliners

They have the talent to compete with every team in the CDL. If they put it all together, New York could be the best team in the league. Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez could arguably be the best SMG player in the CDL. Watching games like the one against Minnesota make you rethink ranking them outside the top five, but then you look at them against OpTic Texas, and they leave a little to be desired.

5. Toronto Ultra

Undoubtedly, when Toronto is on their game, they're the best team in the CDL. After a dominant Major 3, this Major has been nothing more than disappointing thus far. They're coming off a 3-0 victory against Florida, which could be the "get right" game they needed heading into the final weekend of Qualifiers.

4. Boston Breach

After a tough loss to Vegas to start Major 4, Boston has looked untouchable. They had a clutch win against Toronto and dominated London, with OpTic and New York next to close out their Qualifier schedule. Next weekend will be a telling sign of how good Boston really is heading into Bracket Play.

3. Los Angeles Thieves

The Thieves are a pesky team that, even when things aren't going their way, they're still in every game, no matter what. They're getting hot at the right time, despite coming off a tough loss to OpTic. They have put themselves in a strong spot to have one of the top seeds for Bracket Play.

2. Atlanta FaZe

Despite finding some early struggles in Major 4, the FaZe roster, from top to bottom, is as elite as they come. After a tough game five loss to New York and allowing Florida to take them to a game five, FaZe dominated the struggling Major 3 Champs and put themselves in a strong spot to have a top three seed after the final weekend of Qualifiers.

1. OpTic Texas

The addition of Daniel "Ghosty" Rothe should go down as the best roster move of the 2023 Call of Duty League season. Also, adding Cuyler "Huke" Garland after the Guerrillas dropped him for nothing was criminal. OpTic is loaded with talent that understands their roles and should be the favorites to win Major 4.
