Evo 2023 Game Lineup
The most important thing about Evo 2023 is the list of fighting games you can expect to see. This year’s Evo event has eight games:

- Guilty Gear -Strive- PS4 (Arc System Works)
- Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate - PS4 (Warner Bros. Games)

Evo recently revealed that Street Fighter has the most sign-ups after the early bird registration closed. This is due to Street Fighter 6 getting released in June and the Capcom Cup being bigger than ever.
You probably noticed that Super Smash Bros. Melee and Ultimate are not on the list. The two platform fighters are no longer part of Evo at Nintendo’s request, causing a lot of uproar in the FGC. Evo has often been one of the most iconic tournaments for Smash players to prove themselves, especially Melee. Now it’s seen as just one more thing that Nintendo has done to seemingly sabotage the esports scene.
Evo 2023 Date and Location
Evo 2023 is taking place on August 4 - 6. It will be held at the Mandalay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Schedule
Evo's schedule is broken up by days. The biggest thing happening on Evo's first day is the Friday Showcase — a series of panels hosted by all of the biggest fighting game developers. Get the full schedule on Evo's Friday Showcase page. Developer/game panels include:

Evo Top 6 Schedule
The main attraction at Evo is the Top 6 round of competition for each of the main games. These are spread throughout the weekend with the biggest games taking place on the main stage in the Mandalay Bay Arena during the Sunday Finals.

Evo 2023 Prize Pool
Evo 2023 is one of the biggest fighting game tournaments year after year. It’s actually been around for over 20 years and has solidified itself as the fighting game event to attend. With so many top fighting game pros under one arena, you can expect to see a lot of high-stakes action.
"This year, we’re establishing $25,000 minimum prize pools for each tournament in our lineup, and continuing our efforts to improve the Evo event experience for players and fans," Evo general manager Rick Thiher said.
