GBVSR — Top 10 Prismatic Skins, Ranked /

It’s only been two weeks since the release of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, but members of the Northern California Granblue scene have already reached the max level with every character! To celebrate, we decided to compile a list of all the prismatic skins and rank them all.

How to level up characters

To level up characters in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising you need to gain experience by completing battles, either in online matches or locally in arcade mode. As you level up you will receive unlocks for your character including badges, character colors, and weapon skins. Players who reach the max level of 500 will unlock the prismatic weapon skin for their character which has a unique visual effect during attacks.

Prismatic Skins Ranked

#10 Seox

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

The prismatic effect works strikingly well on Seox's Claws of Eternal Splendor. While his attack effects don't have the wow factor of other characters in the top 10, they're a nice finishing touch that isn't overwhelming.

#9 Vira

Vira's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

In contrast, Vira's a strong contender for the most spectacular attack effects. Her sword trail leaves a beautiful rainbow afterimage which stands out as the focal point of the skin. The prismatic effect on her weapons is somewhat underwhelming, but who cares when her attacks are that pretty.

#8 Soriz

Soriz's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

Soriz comes in swinging at #8 with prismatic speed lines right behind him. His Baihu Claws pair well with the crystalline aesthetic are a treat to watch in action.

#7 Nier

Nier's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

It's a shame that Nier's prismatic weapon is limited to her flower crown, as this dazzling version of her Death's Arcanum card brought her up this high on the list alone.

#6 Katalina

Katalina's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

Katalina's prismatic skin is all-around fantastic. Her blade has an almost glass-like appearance that matches the vibe of being cut from a full-screen fireball sword.

#5 Metera

Metera's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

Metera is a rare example of a zoner with a prismatic skin that doesn't fill the entire screen with rainbows, despite her weapon literally being named "Rainbow Bow."

#4 Beelzebub

Beelzebub's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

Beelzebub is where we enter the breathtaking territory. Attacks from his prismatic Sky Piercer will leave you thinking this skin line was made for him.

#3 Anre

Anre's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

They say big things come in small packages and Anre truly pushes the limits of that phrase. Despite having the most visual effects of this list, they all work together seamlessly for a jaw-dropping spectacle.

#2 Vaseraga

Vaseraga's prismatic skin
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

If you had to ask me what was the coolest prismatic skin of them all, you cannot do better than Vaseraga. The flaming rainbow trail on his Soul Forge paired with his Grynoth Demiclone are an almost unbeatable combination, however...
