How to Compete in the Disney Lorcana OP Tour Competition
Disney Lorcana’s first set, The First Chapter, was released fully on September 1, bringing with it a lot of hype from the competitive TCG community. Many people have been practicing online and building decks while they await official tournaments to begin. It looks like that may finally be happening.
Ravensburger outlined on its official website that Disney Lorcana will be a competitive card game with organized play. This would all be under something called Lorcana Play, which would provide local card shops with all the materials and prizing they need to host local tournaments, with players earning points for high placements and for participating in activities.
For now, Ravensburger has not shared any further information about larger tournaments or qualifying for championships. Instead, players are waiting to compete at local competitions as the competitive side of the TCG picks up.
