Halloween Cosmetics Leaked For Mortal Kombat 1

New leaks have pointed at some spooky skins coming to Mortal Kombat 1 just in time for Halloween.

NetherRealm Studios has not announced any Halloween event or content for Mortal Kombat 1 just yet but that hasn’t stopped leakers from uncovering some possible updates that are rumored to be revealed any day now at New York Comic Con. The latest is a batch of Halloween skins.

Ed Boon himself has stated that fans should expect an announcement at New York Comic Con, which fans believe will be Halloween-related or about the upcoming release of Omni-Man. Since Boon has claimed it won’t be Omni-Man, we can only assume it will be to confirm the leaked skins.

Mortal Kombat 1 Halloween Skins Leaked Ahead of New York Comic Con

Multiple Mortal Kombat leaks have shown some exciting new skins coming to Mortal Kombat 1 for Halloween.

Mileena Halloween skin MK1

Leaker Renzu_Assassin shared a Mileena skin on Reddit that has her looking like she escaped from a haunted asylum, including combat boots, restraining belts, and a lot of blood. Many fighting game fans expressed appreciation for the skin and are hoping it will be confirmed.

The skin, inspired by Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs, may also have multiple color options. Leakers believe that every Halloween skin will have multiple palettes to choose from.

An earlier leak from BebsiMo also believes that Dia de los Muertos skin is coming for Scorpion to match the one that already exists for Sub-Zero. They have stated there’s also some “kosplay” skins for Ashrah, Baraka, and Li Mei, among others.

When Are We Getting Halloween Skins in Mortal Kombat 1?

Right now it’s unclear exactly when these skins and other possible cosmetics are coming. It’s believed that anything Halloween-related that does get confirmed will be in a Halloween pack for the game, most likely in the next few weeks.

For now, take these leaks with a pinch of salt since nothing has been confirmed. But we believe an announcement is coming any day now, with the Halloween skins coinciding with Mortal Kombat 1 Season 2.
