Everything You Need to Know About the BLAST Atlanta Major 2023 — Location, Tickets, Dates
Ubisoft has announced that the best Rainbow Six Siege teams in the world are coming to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the second BLAST R6 Major of 2023. This comes after the Copenhagen Major that happened in May, which saw w7m esports take down Team Liquid for the title and $207,000.
Atlanta Major Location
The Atlanta Major is going to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, including the Finals at the Gas South Arena.
A press release about the upcoming Major stated: “The BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will be the first Rainbow Six Siege event to take place in the state of Georgia. The region is no stranger to large-scale esports events with a number of other esports titles visiting the city in recent years.”
Atlanta Major Dates and Schedule
The upcoming BLAST Major is going to follow the same format and schedule as Copenhagen. Here are the dates:
- Phase 1 - Play-In: October 30-November 2
- Phase 2 - Playoffs: November 4-November 8
- Phase 3 - Finals: November 10-November 12
BLAST Major Prize Pool
This massive Major will have a $750,000 prize pool. This will be split amongst the top teams, with the winning team taking home the majority of the pot.
While the prize pool is a great incentive, the real goal is getting points to qualify for the Six Invitational 2024, which takes place in Brazil.
Teams Competing at R6 Atlanta Major
There will be 24 top teams from nine regions coming together for the Atlanta Major. Right now, the teams are not confirmed, but they will be the top performing teams from each region’s league as well as whoever dominates at the Last Chance Qualifiers.
The teams at the Atlanta Major are going to be the best teams in the world, so you can expect some intense action throughout.
“North America and the USA in particular have been a core region for the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene since the very early days. At the last Rainbow Six Major in North America in May 2022, the home advantage at Charlotte, North Carolina led DarkZero Esports to their first Major LAN victory. North America will be hoping for similar success in Atlanta come November,” the press release said.

The first two phases will not have an audience but tickets are currently available for Phase 3, the Finals. You can choose from a single-day pass or a three-day pass here.
