My Hero Ultra Rumble has all of the popular heroes, villains, and teachers from My Hero Academia, each using their own unique skills and quirks to take down enemies in this battle royale smackdown.

There are currently five different classes of hero, which helps organize the roster and allows players to create balanced rosters. Here are all of the classes explained.

Assault

Assault heroes are focused on dealing massive damage, whether it’s All Might rushing forward to punch enemies or Mt. Lady delivering a painful jump kick. Assault heroes are meant to be played aggressively, getting up close and personal during combat.

Assault heroes:

  • Izuku Midoriya
  • All Might
  • Mt. Lady
  • Itsuka Kendo
  • Eijiro Kirishima

Support

These heroes are meant to boost teammates, but it’s not always in the straightforward ways you initially think. For example, Mr. Compress can trap enemies and Yaoyorozu creates shields. When playing support in Rumble, you want to have great synergy with your teammates to better carry out combos and strategies.

Technical

These rare heroes have very specific skills that can be a bit tough to master but will really improve your team’s chances if used right. When playing technical heroes, really pay attention to your surroundings and how your teammates are playing to better utilize your skills. For example, Toga’s Special Skill lets her turn into an enemy hero and use their skills — you must choose which enemy you turn into wisely depending on what the situation calls for.

Technical heroes:

  • Dabi
  • Himiko Toga

Strike

These heroes have a great balance of damage and defense. Your gameplay style is often dealing damage from afar or finding creative ways to back out of a fight after a successful attack. It may take some time to master these tricky heroes but you’ll be a great addition to any team comp.

Strike heroes:

  • Katsuki Bakugo
  • Shoto Todoroki
  • Tomura Shigaraki
  • Denki Kaminari

Rapid

These mobility-focused heroes are all about getting great positioning against enemy teams and finding ways to advance or escape with ease. Ida is able to speed up temporarily and Uraraka can grant zero gravity to themselves or allies, creating space and finding better positioning.

Rapid heroes:

  • Ochaco Uraraka
  • Tsuyu Asui
  • Tenya Ida
