My Hero Ultra Rumble Patch Notes: Buffs and Nerfs Hero Quirks

My Hero Ultra Rumble has been shaking up the battle royale genre with its quirk system and anime-inspired fights. Now, a new patch has addressed a few issues with the gameplay to ensure it’s smooth and balanced.

As you’d probably guess from an anime-inspired game, a lot of the playable heroes on the roster are a bit OP. To address this, developers have taken away some of their plot armor. Izuku Midoriya’s Delaware Smash Air Force, Katsuki Bakugo’s AP Shot, and Shoto Todoroki’s Blazing Fields of Roaring Fire have all had damage reduced at every level.

Then, to continue balancing the roster, developers also had some heroes say “And this isn’t even my final form” by buffing their abilities a bit. For example, Tenya Iida’s Recipro Burst has a faster reload speed at all levels, Eijiro Kirishima’s Hardening has an extended duration, and Dabi’s Arson skill now does more damage at all levels.

• Quirk Skill α “Delaware Smash Air Force”: Damage reduced at all levels.

Katsuki Bakugo

• Quirk Skill α “AP Shot”: Damage reduced at all levels.

Shoto Todoroki

• Quirk Skill α “Blazing Fields of Roaring Fire”: Damage reduced at all levels.

Tenya Iida

• Quirk Skill β “Recipro Burst”: Increased reload speed at all levels.

Tsuyu Asui

• Quirk Skill γ “Camofrog”: Reduced duration of effect at Lv. 1, 2, 3

Eijiro Kirishima

• Special Action “Hardening”: Effect duration extended and increased reload speed.
• Quirk Skill β “Red Counter”: Increased number of bullets at all levels.

Tomura Shigaraki

• Quirk Skill γ “Area Glitch”: Increases the number of bullets at all levels.

Dabi

• Maximum HP changed to 350.
• Quirk Skill α “Arson”: Damage increased at all levels.

Mr. Compress

• Quirk Skill α “Production Magic”: Increased number of bullets at all levels.
• Quirk Skill β “Sleight of Hand”: Increases the number of bullets at all levels.

Mt. Lady

• Quirk Skill γ “Canyon Cannon”: Increased number of bullets at all levels.

Bug fixes

• Shortened the time it takes to enter the lobby after searching for a lobby.
• Fixed a server bug that occurred when changing characters in training mode.
• Fixed a server bug that was occurring in communication during battles.
