Fans of My Hero Ultra Rumble got some epic news today.

The My Hero Academia game has been a big hit with the anime crowd thanks to the game’s unique quirk system and cast of popular characters. My Hero Ultra Rumble is considered a battle royale and has players competing as trios or duos. But that’s about to change.

My Hero Ultra Rumble Classes Explained

For a limited time, My Hero Ultra Rumble will have Solo Battle mode.

When Is Solo Battle Mode in My Hero Ultra Rumble?

My Hero Ultra Rumble is introducing Solo Battle mode for a limited time. It’s available now until January 8, 2024.

During this period, Duo Battle mode will not be available. This will give players a chance to experience Solo Battle for the next few weeks.

How to Play Solo Battles in My Hero Ultra Rumble

The developers have made it easy (in theory) to play Solo Battle mode. Here’s how:

  • Open the game
  • Head to Game Modes
  • Select Solo Battles
  • Queue up!

My Hero Ultra Rumble Players React to Solo Battles

While it was initially exciting to receive a new game mode in My Hero Ultra Rumble, the fans have not reacted positively to the update.

While some have praised the game overall, a lot of gamers responded with frustration about how the Solo Battle mode has been working. One player noted that the lobbies for the new game mode seemed to be predominantly made up of bots. Another felt that this game wasn’t meant to be played solo.

“This game is in the same situation as Apex was where their character designs falter in solo modes and then gives way for certain characters to be toxic must-picks. I’m excited to see the data they collect from this, a solo mode sounds fun but we’ll see,” one player tweeted.

The other issue, however, is that some gamers are simply not able to queue up to begin with. A maintenance period has made it difficult to load Solo Battle mode (and possibly other modes). Players are waiting to see if this will clear up and they have more time to experience Solo Battle during this time
