- The Road to Sinnoh Event for Pokemon GO begins on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
- The Road to Sinnoah Event features two new tickets, the Raid and Hatch Ticket, with unique rewards and bonuses.
- Players have a chance to unlock Sinnoh–themed Timed Research throughout the event to earn encounters with Legendary Pokemon.
Pokemon GO’s global Sinnoh Tour is just around the corner and it’s being kicked off with a pre-launch event that players all around the world can participate in, the Road to Sinnoh Event. Players of Pokemon GO can access special rewards, raids, and timed research by purchasing $5.00 Paid Tickets that will last for a limited time.

Road to Sinnoh Event Details
The Road to Sinnoh Event for Pokemon GO begins on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 p.m. local time. To participate players will need to buy a special timed ticket called Road to Sinnoh: Raid and Road to Sinnoh: Hatch, each will cost $5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in local currency). Each ticket features unique timed research tasks, rewards, and bonuses.
Road to Sinnoh: Raid Tickets
Pokemon GO players who purchase this raid ticket for the Road to Sinnoh event will be able to earn the following rewards through timed research tasks:
- 10 Dialga Candy.
- 10 Palkia Candy.
- 5 Heatran Candy XL.
- 5 Giratina Candy XL.
- 5 Cresselia Candy XL.
- 5 Darkrai Candy XL.
- Eevee Fan Mask
And receive the following bonuses:
- Additional 5,000 XP from completed raids.
- 1 additional Candy will be awarded for catching Pokémon in raids.
- 2 additional Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms each day.
The following changes will also occur for Pokemon GO fans globally, regardless of if they purchase the Raid Ticket or not. Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, the Pokemon Generation 4 Starters will appear more often in One-Star Raids.
The Generation 4 Starters' second-stage evolutions, Grotle, Monferno, and Prinplup will appear more often in Three-Star Raids.
Additionally, a Legendary Pokemon will be featured every day in the Five-Star Raids during the Road to Sinnoh Event. They are as follows:
- Darkrai on Monday, February 19th.
- Cresselia on Tuesday, February 20th.
- On Wednesday, February 21st.
- Uxie for Asia-Pacific Region.
- Mespirit for the EMEA Region.
- Azelf for the Americas and Greenland.
- Heatran on Thursday, February 22nd.
- Origin Forme Giratina on February 23rd.
All of these Pokemon have a chance to appear as Shiny versions of themselves except for the second-stage Generation 4 starters.
Road to Sinnoh: Hatch Tickets
Players who purchase the Hatch Ticket during the Road to Sinnoh Event in Pokemon Go will receive timed research tasks that will lead to encounters with Pachirisu, Chatot, and Carnivine, each of which has a chance to be Shiny variants.
The Hatch Tickets also include the following rewards and perks:
- Pikachu Fan Mask (from timed research).
- 2× Hatch XP.
- 2× Hatch Candy.
- 2× Hatch Stardust.
In addition, all players globally, regardless of whether they’ve purchased a Hatch Ticket, will be able to hatch the following Pokemon from 2km Eggs (which have a chance to be Shiny as well!):
- Budew
- Chingling
- Bonsly
- Happiny
- Muchlax
- Riolu
- Mantyke
Other Road to Sinnoh Event Details
Pokemon GO players will all be able to participate in émon GO Tour: Sinnoh–themed Timed Research throughout the event to earn encounters with Legendary Pokemon; Heatran, Origin Forme Giratina, Cresselia, and Darkrai, including a chance for them to be Shiny.
Finally, there will global event bonuses for all players including egg hatch distances being halved for all incubator eggs during the event. The player Remote Raid Pass Limit is increased to 10 and no limits on Remote Raids.
New avatar items will also be available to purchase from the in-game shop and include Giratina-themed items and more.
