What is the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace?
Rainbow Six Siege is now in its ninth year since release, and Ubisoft continues to deliver incredible content updates frequently. One of the latest updates is the addition of the Marketplace. The Marketplace allows players to trade weapon skins, meaning you no longer have to rely on luck to get the skin that you want.
Here’s everything we know about the Marketplace, including how to access it, and how it all works.

What is the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace?
Players can now buy and sell their in-game cosmetic items through the Rainbow Six Siege Community Marketplace. This is similar to the Marketplace that we see on Steam, which allows players to buy and sell their items from games such as Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2.
While the Marketplace is still in beta, it works just as you’d expect. Players can set their items for sale, and other players can purchase them. All transactions happen with the in-game Rainbow Six Siege currency.
How to Access the R6 Marketplace
Players can access the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace by applying for the beta through the Ubisoft website. Once selected to participate in the beta, you’ll have full access to use it.
Just like the Steam Marketplace, the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace allows you to buy and sell all kinds of items. This includes:
- Weapon Skins
- Headgear
- Uniforms
- Attachment Skins
- Charms
- Operator Portraits
- Card Backgrounds
- Drone Skins
It’s extremely simple to use, with filters that allow you to search only for a specific skin or a specific weapon, and a modern UI that looks great. Ubisoft will take a 10% transaction fee from each sale, meaning if you sell a weapon skin for 100 Credits, you will only receive 90 Credits for the sale. Orders are active for 30 days after posting, and there is a limit on 5 active Sells and 5 active Buys for each player, with a max of 20 sales and 20 purchases over a 24 hour period.
We have no official full release date for the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace, however, the number of users in the Beta is growing, and players seem to love it already.
