Best Kaveh Build for Spiral Abyss Clear
Kaveh, a distinguished 4-star Dendro character in Genshin Impact, is known for his architectural prowess as the creator of the Palace of Alcazarzaray. Featured in the second half of the 3.6 patch, Kaveh appears on the Baizhu and Ganyu banners. In this article, we will explore the best builds for Kaveh that will clear the current Abyss Spiral as quickly and effectively as possible.
Spiral Abyss
The Spiral Abyss is a unique dungeon that players can unlock in Genshin Impact at Adventure Rank 20. Every 1st and 16th day of the month the Spire resets and new enemies or blessings may appear. Players who build teams around these blessings will often reap the maximum rewards possible, and bragging rights for having cleared all 36 stars.
Blessing of the Abyssal Moon
For this rotation, the Blessing of the Abyssal Moon is Erupting Moon. A damage buff that leans heavily into Bloom reactions.
This is PERFECT when thinking of Kaveh because of how much his kit revolves around these kinds of dendro reactions. Thanks to Genshin Impact Wiki, you can find a full breakdown of Kaveh's skills, talents, cons and level-up material.
The Floors
Each Floor has its own Ley-Line disorder — which is a fancy way of saying damage buff or debuff. Here are the Ley-Line disorders for this Spire rotation:
The Chambers
These are the domains every Genshin player endures for the sweet taste of primogems and pride. In order to get the maximum reward possible you have to clear out all three stars by completing the domain within a time frame.
Many players, including a number of popular streamers, enjoy the challenge of speed-running these domains with insane character builds. Since Kaveh just recently dropped, we're here to help you clear those domains just as fast as his technology is developing.
Elemental Mastery Build
Elemental Mastery (EM) is a stat in Genshin Impact that affects how damage caused by elemental reactions can scale. The higher your EM, the bigger damage output your character can have.
For a pure EM build on Kaveh, these are the best artifact and weapon builds according to GameWith. We added our own situational artifact sets in too for those who like to theory craft!
Artifacts:
Bloom 4-Piece Flower of Paradise Lost
Spread 4-Piece Deep Memories
Situational 4-Piece Gilded Dreams or 2 Piece Gilded / 2 Piece Wanders Troupe
Weapons:
Mailed Flower
Makhaira Aquamarine
Rainslasher
Forest Regalia
And an oddball claymore if you really need EM — Bloodtainted Greatsword
Team Comps:
Get your wallets out friends, because a successful Kaveh Abyss clear is going to be expensive.
Kaveh main ayikun blew away the community with the ease at which they cleared Chamber 3 of Floor 12.

I'm calling this the "hydroponics" team because of how expensive the comp is. This team consists of three 5-star units: one dendro and two hydro users.
The team breakdown based on what we've gathered from comments and abilities:
DPS — Kaveh, spinning in all his glory. Most likely C6 and invested Talents. Weapon - Rainslasher probably at max refinement.
Support — Nahida, specifically C2 Nahida as this constellation allows transformative reactions like Bloom to crit.
Healer — Sangonomiya Kokomi, you can spot her little jellyfish applying hydro and aiding in the Bloom reaction.
EM Buff — Nilou, Court of Dancing Passive which will increase all party members EM by 100 for 10s whenever they are hit by dendro attacks.
The Nilou and Nahida investments are crucial to buffing Kaveh. Nahida granting crits when EM otherwise would be a flat damage rate, and Nilou buffing Kaveh's EM.
Free-er To Play
While still somewhat expensive, this team comp was thrown together by another TikTok user: okanaah.

DPS — Kaveh. Here he is equipped with Dehya's Beacon of the Reed Sea.
Dendro res — Dendro Traveler
EM Buff — Nilou, Court of Dancing Passive which will increase all party members EM by 100 for 10s whenever they are hit by dendro attacks.
Sub DPS / Atk Buff — Mona, maybe equipping Thrilling Tales?
The reason this team comp is "free-er" is due to the higher probability of players already having lost their 50/50s to Mona. Or perhaps even on the current banner! Traveler is free, you just have to unlock access to Sumeru to get dendro resonance if not already done. Kaveh being a 4-star unit also makes him more accessible. Nilou is the main cost investment for this team.
Lawnmower
Get it? Because he shreds with grass!! This build isn't as dependent on Kaveh's Elemental Mastery so you won't need to invest in a Nilou unit. This build instead relies more heavily on attack.
This unconventional Kaveh build by TikTok user guoooba attracted both hate and curiosity from the Genshin community.
DPS — Kaveh, wielding Serpent Spine and 4-piece Gladiator. More details below in the photo gallery.
Support — Nahida, specifically C2 Nahida as this constellation allows transformative reactions like Bloom to crit. While this team isn't as dependent on Kaveh's Bloom damage, it doesn't hurt to buff. May want Thrilling Tales on her to buff attack damage.
Sub DPS — Mona, built for sub dps damage.
Sub DPS — Kujou Sara.
While we're not so sure how this overworld/boss team will translate to the Abyss, this team could be more F2P friendly by switching Nahida for dendro traveler or other four-star dendro units. Mona could be replaced with a built Xingqiu. Potentially Barbara but you risk freeze.
Candace is a wildcard hydro replacement and one of my favorite characters. Since she's on the same banner as Kaveh, you'll likely pull her alongside him. Her 4th ascension passive, Celestial Dome of Sand, may be of interest for this team comp and build as she will help scale up elemental DMG dealt with NA.
