EA Sports Reveal Crossplay, Seasons, and New Progression in Clubs on EA FC 24
EA SPORTS' FC 24 is just over a month away from launch and we have been getting more and more info on the game every single day. Today, EA SPORTS revealed new info on Clubs, better known as Pro Clubs in previous FIFA titles, including Crossplay, Seasons, and new methods of progression for your club.
Will EA FC Have Crossplay?
In EA FC 24, players can play with their friends no matter what console they’re on. Old-gen consoles such as the Xbox One and PS4 can play together, while new gen, the Xbox Series S/X, PS5 and PC can play together too. This will also result in unified leaderboards, one for each generation.
Clubs League Season + Playoffs
A new Season format for Clubs in FC 24 will bring a new level of competition to the game. During each Season, Clubs compete in a League Phase, progressing from the lowest division to the highest, earning points and pushing for promotion. Each Season culminates in a brand new Playoff Phase where Clubs have a fixed number of matches to climb their League leaderboard and earn additional end-of-season rewards in the form of Fans, reputation, and unique Clubs League trophies. The higher your Club finishes in both the League Phase and Playoff Phase, the better rewards you’ll earn at the conclusion of each Season.
Club Progression
There’s more than just upgrading your player in Clubs on FC 24. Players can gain fans in order to unlock reputation levels and expand the exposure of your Club. The more popular your Club, the more you’ll be able to tailor your stadium—and the better your AI squad will get.
PlayStyles in Clubs
Players can develop their Pro into their favorite player with PlayStyles this year. PlayStyles are unique signature abilities that make you stand out on the pitch. Each PlayStyle makes your Pro more personal, unlocking a new level of customization and giving you control over the precise type of player your Pro becomes.
EA SPORTS FC 24 launches on September 22nd for early access and players who purchase the Ultimate Edition, with the full standard launch going live on September 29th.
