Madden 24 — Ratings for the Top 100 Players
With the annual Madden release date set for August 18, the fun and controversial topic of player ratings is always an entertaining topic. Many will debate whether a player is ranked too high or too low in every new Madden game.
Madden rates their players on a scale of 0-100. There are various categories that players are rated in, which will determine their overall rating based on their position and how well they are rated in important categories to their position.
There is a lot of data that goes into how a player is rated. Madden uses statistics as well as other measurable data from sites like Pro Football Focus (PFF) and Next Gen Stats (NGS). They also watch the games and speak with coaches, scouts, analysts, and former players.
Throughout the NFL season, Madden adjusts player ratings to elevate a player if they're having a strong season or demote players that are having a lesser season than originally expected. It's based on their overall performance, injuries that occur during the season, and the players' overall growth and age.
