VALORANT Agents I would vote to be President

It's VALORANT Agents as presidents...because it's President's Day

To be honest, I don’t really know how you actually are supposed to spend President’s day. But you know something that nearly every VALORANT fan has thought of at least once? Which VALORANT agents would make a great president?

So, in honor of President’s Day, follow along as I take you into my own imagination of VALORANT agents that I would vote for in a presidential election.

Brimstone: VALORANT’s Captain America

Come on, you can’t tell me VALORANT’s very own Captain America wasn’t brought into the game to be the face of the game or in this case, the face of the people? Brimstone is an All-American soldier that is all about protecting his nation. While he personally wouldn’t be my first choice to be President, Brimstone would be a President that I would not mind at all by any means. In fact, I would feel secure every day knowing that I have Brimstone protecting us from any enemies.

The only question I have about Brimstone is what actor would play him in a biopic about how great his tenure as President was. I’ll go with Stranger Things actor David Harbour.

Killjoy: She looks like Sadness from Inside out and that’s dope

If you have ever seen the movie Inside Out, there is a character called Sadness that absolutely stole my heart. Killjoy’s whole aesthetic just makes me think of Sadness and that is why I would vote for her to be President. Additionally, she is also a mechanical genius that would most likely create a technological advancement that would make everybody's lives easier.

She’s Sadness meets a German genius with robot buddies and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a president with robot buddies? As long as those robot buddies aren’t Megan dolls, then that sounds like a fun president.

Yoru: Because why not?

In my eyes, Yoru would never win a presidential election. That being said, he would still get my vote because I have a soft spot for the unappreciated underdog. Every day, Yoru shows up and gives it his best. While it usually does not work out, evident by how little love he receives in professional VALORANT, everybody appreciates the 100 percent he gives.

We also love a good candidate that has his own unique dedicated following of people that will try and convince you that he is the people’s champ. Sure, Yoru, we believe that you will be at the top one day, you keep doing your best. Don’t worry, Yoru, you may be dead last in the Presidential election, but you have my vote.

Sage: We share a name and she saves lives…literally

Is it biased to put Sage on this list primarily because we share a name? Well, that sucks because she is staying on this list because it’s my list. I remember the moment Sage was first revealed in VALORANT because it was the day when I got multiple texts from my friends asking if I inspired the agent. To this day, I do not know if they were joking or if they really thought being an esports journalist really meant I had that much of an impact to have an agent created after myself.

But aside from an awesome name, Sage is all about putting others before herself with a calming presence that would capture the hearts of people who watch spirituality TikToks. Not only does she create walls to protect those she cares about, but she can also literally revive people. Holy crap that would be pretty awesome to have as a President. Imagine your president being able to save lives by reviving lives.

Here’s to hoping my imagination turns into manifestation so that this dream can become a reality. She will always have my vote.

Astra: VALORANT’s very own Project Managing President

She is an actual president…in my mind. Okay, so she’s technically an Astral Guardian, but that is beside the point. Astra is a VALORANT agent that is made to be a president and a damn good one at that. She has the perfect blend of infectious charisma, hence why she is mained by nearly every professional competitive VALORANT in-game leader, and discipline. Astra is all about the proper execution of plans by thinking about problems two steps ahead and using “deep strategic foresight” to make the best decision going forward.

If she were in the real world, Astra would most definitely be a Project Management expert that graduated from Columbia University with a perfect 4.0 GPA. All while doing charity work to save kittens. She’s essentially Esports Illustrated’s very own Scott Zackman in video game form and that is pretty cool.

Well, if you made it to the end of this list, I thank you for taking time out of your President’s Day celebration to read my future Presidential voting ballot. Do you agree with my presidential ballot? Let us know which VALORANT agents you would personally vote for in a presidential election.
