Those that follow the VALORANT Champions tour circuit may have come across the name VCT Game Changers at one point while following their favorite teams. But what exactly are VCT Game Changers for those unfamiliar with how it differed from its VCT 2023 circuit counterpart?

Who can play in VCT Game Changers?
VALORANT Game Changers is a “stepping stone” meant to promote the women’s VALORANT scene more with the ultimate goal of having more women competing in the VCT Challenger Leagues.
Is VCT Game Changers female only?
As a result, VCT Game Changers is exclusive to only women and other marginalized genders, such as trans and cis women.
This exclusivity is done in order to create a platform for marginalized genders to foster their VALORANT talents, where the hope is that the top talents can join VCT teams one day. That being said, VALORANT Game Changers coaches do not fall under this category, which is why you will see some teams have a male coach.
How does VALORANT Game Changers 2023 work?
Those looking to keep up with VCT Game Changers in 2023 can do so by following the VCT 2023 Game Changers Series 1 Main Event. There, eight of the best VCT Game Changers teams in North America are competing for the first domestic championship in the VCT Game Changers 2023 circuit.
In total, there will be three separate VCT Game Changers series main events leading up to the eventual VALORANT Game Changers world championship in Brazil later this year.
VALORANT Game Changers Schedule in 2023
This is the entire schedule for VALORANT Game Changers North American teams throughout the 2023 season. Here, teams will fight for their lion’s den share of $50,000 and the glory of being North America’s top Game Changers team.
Game Changers Series I
- Open Qualifier: April 4 to April 6
- Main Event: April 11 to April 14
Game Changers Series II
- Open Qualifier: July 13 to July 16
- Main Event: July 26 to July 30
Game Changers Series III
- Open Qualifier: Sept. 28 to Oct. 1
- Main Event: Oct. 4 to Oct. 8
