In an Audio Karma forum about National Anthem performances, commenter jimfet wrote that George Jones' rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, performed before the 2002 Coca Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, was the best he had ever heard. Recounted jimfet, who was visiting the audiokarma.org forums for whatever reason one visits the audiokarma.org forums, "He had me crying by the end."
That performance unfortunately isn't online. But this one is, and it'll move more than just jimfet.
