He Might Have A Future

Ken Jeong :: Icon SMI

Hi folks, I'm Chris Sesno, I'll be filling in for Jimmy Traina today while he works on his routine to audition for next season of Dancing With The Stars.

Wednesday's Dodgers-Yankees game featured a whole bunch of fun. First and foremost, words can't do justice to actor and comedian Ken Jeong announcing the Dodgers lineup, you'll just have to watch that for yourself.

Then there was soccer star Cristiano Ronaldojuggling a baseball with Yasiel Puig before throwing out the first pitch. Once Ronaldo actually took the mound, he sailed his first attempt well over Puig's head before delivering a strike on his second try.

Legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully had the call for Mariano Rivera's save in the ninth inning, and after the game, former Yankees employee George Costanza Jason Alexander sent out this great tweet.

This Is How You Celebrate

In yesterday's A.M. Hot Clicks, we had Chad Qualls' fist-pump fail. Via @Bulletsforever comes Wizards PG John Wall showing him how it's done after signing a mega contract extension:

[UPDATE: It looks like this happened before he signed his extension. Still awesome.]

Both Sides Of The Law

First the good: Florida State cornerback Nick Waisome walked into his apartment and found two men robbing his home. They both fled, but Waisome was able to chase one suspect down and call police. Three weeks later, Waisome was at a gas station when he spotted someone wearing his clothes. After calling police, the cops say they found more than $6,000 worth of property believed to be stolen from Waisome.

Now the bad: The night before a Waverly (Neb.)  baseball team was to play for the American Legion state title, six players got in trouble with cops for underage drinking. The incident carried an automatic suspension, which left the team one player short of the minimum required to take the field. They had to forfeit and the coach, who had performed curfew checks, stepped down. (Thanks to @CourtlandOlson for the link.)
