Two Different "Bar Rescue" Bars Had Fatal Shootings This Past Saturday
Spike TV
Over the weekend, there were fatal shootings at two separate bars that have been the subjects of Spike TV Bar Rescue episodes. On Saturday a man was shot in killed when an argument at Second Base, an Orange County sports bar that host Jon Taffer visited last year, devolved into a parking lot fight.
Also on Saturday, country singer Jerald (Wayne) Mills was shot and killed by Nashville bar owner Chris Ferrell after a dispute that originated when Mills apparently lit up a cigarette in the establishment's non-smoking section. Ferrell's Pit and Barrel bar was scheduled to be featured on last night's Bar Rescue episode. Although Spike TV had initially prepared to air a re-run last night, the network ended up showing the Pit and Barrel makeover at midnight central time.
