This morning, someone paged Nick Saban that his car was ready at the Austin–Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas. The Alabama head coach was not, in fact, at the airport -- the intercom announcement was a prank meant to the stoke the flames of endless Saban-to-UT rumors. And it worked:

Of course, now there's a report from NFL.com's Gil Brandt that Saban is close to signing an extension with Alabama. If that is a prank, we'll really be dealing with some superlative mischief.
